FAQs

What happens when we arrive?

The studio will be set up with canvasses, aprons, brushes and paints and you’ll be greeted with a lovely glass of prosecco from Wolf Wine. The original painting will be on display and the instructor will paint along and guide you step by step so that you will achieve a painting remarkably like the original. Afterwards you’ll have a paper bag to carry your painting home and we do the clean up.

We do have a small selection of soft non-alcoholic drinks if you prefer. If so, please let us know and we will refrain from pouring you a glass of prosecco.

Are drinks BYOB & can I bring snacks?

Yes we are BYOB after the first glass of prosecco. One glass never quite seems like enough. We have extra glasses, a wine fridge and an ice machine.

Simple snacks like crisps and sweets are ok to bring. Please keep in mind that we need the full 2 hours to paint and there is not much extra space. Additionally, your instructor will likely be cleaning up for another session after yours.

Is there a minimum age?

Minimum painter age is 18. Exceptions will be made for a 16 year old accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Where can I write a review?

Will my painting really look like that?

Yes, you will surprise yourself! In all of my years instructing Paint by Wine, I’ve only had a couple of “fails.” One could barely walk through the door after wine sampling at lunch and sat on her palette. The other despised her co-hens and refused to look at her painting while she painted. Neither of those are you. Give it a go!
